Bintang, meaning Star in Bahasa Indonesia is the name of one of Flores four star and most established hotel. Located in Labuan Bajo this is a perfect place to stop if you have just arrived after traveling to the area or it you plan to dive in the nearby world-class dive sites that line the coasts. It is also an excellent base for visiting the Komodo islands and the nature reserves and dive sites that line these areas or just chilling out on the private beach in this un-spoilt paradise. Bintang Flores Hotel is a five story modern complex that has a huge amount of land with tropical gardens reminiscent of the traditional Flores style and a large elegant pool. Al of the modern connivances and luxuries are present including a wide array of available water sports as well other activities.

There are two different room types that are named the Deluxe Room and the Deluxe Suite. The Deluxe rooms at Bintang Flores Hotel are 23 meters squared and are available with a large double bed or with twin beds one of which is a king size. The standard of luxury is very good and the décor is of a modern minimalist and reserved style. All rooms have a private veranda and are air conditioned as well as having a 21" color television with international channels and drink making facilities that include hot and cold drinks as well as a mini bar for other refreshments and beverages. There is also a personal safety deposit box and international telephone in all of the Deluxe rooms at Bintang Flores Hotel.

The Deluxe one bedroom suite is a generous 64 meters squared and features a large king-size bed that is extremely comfortable and of a very high quality as well as all of the Deluxe facilities and services. These rooms are located on the 3rd and 4th floors and have an excellent view out over the beach and the garden areas including sights of the pool and views that stretch out over the bay of Labuan Bajo. It is possible to get an extra bed in any of the rooms at a small extra charge and there are excellent en suite bathrooms in al of the rooms. There are also deals and special plans for families and young children who are traveling accompanied by a parent or guardian.

Bintang Flores Hotel has an excellent restaurant and bar that provides delicious food from Indonesia as well as oriental food and world dishes. This alfresco environment is a perfect location to enjoy food at any time in the day and the bar area can be enjoyed with wonderful air conditioned views as well as the beach and poolside bars that are located outside. These facilities are located on the top floor and have the best views of the surrounding panorama including the furthest horizon sights.
