Another great place to visit during your days in Flores is the mystical Kelimutu Lake. Located in Moni, an area belongs to the Regency of Ende in East Flores. The lake is different from other lakes as the color of the water in each of the three lakes is different. Besides its difference, there is a myth that is believed by local people about the lake. They also believe that the water in each lake is always changed.
Away from its myth, Lake Kelimutu has excellent view that is worth visited.

Day 01 Bali – Maumere
Arriving in Maumere after having a flight from Bali. You will meet our representative and direct drive for a 12 Km to eastern Maumere town to reach your first hotel in Maumere.

Day 02 Maumere – Kelimutu – Maumere
After an early morning breakfast at 3.30 AM drive up to Kelimutu volcano (108 km by drive) to see the three colored lakes. Upon arrival walk for 1,5 km and then ascend 127 steps to top to view Kelimutu's green, blue and black lakes. A Dutch Geologist discovered Kelimutu in 1914; at the time the lakes were red, blue and white. Descend to Moni village to visit Kowanara village famous for its traditional Lionese houses, stone seats and traditional sacred cemetery. Lunch will be served at a local restaurant in Wolowaru. After lunch, drive back to Maumere with several stops made according to local happenings.

Day 03 Maumere
Breakfast at hotel. Visit Wuring village to see the houses built on stilts over the sea. Next, drive up to Ledalero - a major Catholic Seminary - to visit the museum with its various collection of local royal families' old portraits, antique hand woven clothes, stagedeon fossils, etc. Proceed to Sikka village - a center of "Ikat" weaving to see the traditional weaving process and an old church built in the 16th Century. Return to hotel.

Day 04 Maumere - Bali
After having breakfast, our guide will take you to go for sightseeing around Maumere to see the local town. After enjoying the town, transfer to airport to get a flight to Bali. Arriving in Bali, you will be picked up and transferred to your Bali hotel.
